Quick Start
Get from zero to organized footage in 7 steps.
Step 1: Sign Up & Log In
Create Your Account
Visit aienchant.com and click "Sign Up". Enter your email address and create a password (minimum 8 characters, must include uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character). You'll receive a 6-digit verification code via email.
Alternatively, sign up instantly using Google OAuth.
Step 2: Download & Install
Install the Desktop App
Download EnchantSetup.exe from the website or your dashboard. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. See the full Installation Guide if you encounter any issues.
Step 3: Activate Your License
Log In to the App
Launch Enchant and sign in with your account credentials. Your license will be automatically activated on this device. Each account supports 1 device at a time.
Step 4: Create a Project
Set Up Your First Project
Click "New Project" and give it a name (e.g., the production title). Projects help you group related footage and manage analysis results.
Step 5: Select Footage Folder
Point to Your Footage
Click "Add Folder" and select the directory containing your raw camera files. Enchant supports all major video formats: .mov, .mp4, .mxf, .avi, .r3d, .braw, and more.
Subfolders are scanned recursively, so you can select the top-level camera card directory.
Step 6: Run Analysis
Start the AI Scan
Click "Analyze" to begin. Enchant will scan each video file for slates, extract metadata, and classify the footage. Each video analyzed costs 1 coin.
Processing speed depends on your GPU. On an NVIDIA RTX 4060, expect approximately 2.2 seconds per clip.
Step 7: Review Results & Export
Check and Export
Once analysis is complete, review the recognized slates and file assignments in the results panel. You can manually correct any misread fields if needed.
Export options:
- Folder structure — Reorganize files on disk into scene/take hierarchy.
- Premiere Pro — Generate an XML/EDL for direct import.
- DaVinci Resolve — Export DRB or XML project file.
- Final Cut Pro — Create an FCPXML for import.
