Overview
Enchant is a desktop application that uses computer vision and AI to automatically recognize slates (clapperboards) in video footage, extract metadata, and organize files into structured folder hierarchies. It is designed for post-production professionals, DITs, and editors who need to manage large volumes of camera footage efficiently.
The software runs locally on your machine, leveraging your GPU for real-time inference. No footage is uploaded to the cloud — everything stays on your hard drive.
How It Works
- Import — Point Enchant at a folder containing raw camera footage.
- Analyze — The AI engine scans each clip for slates, reading scene, take, and roll information.
- Organize — Files are automatically sorted into a folder structure matching your naming conventions.
- Export — Generate bin structures for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
