FFmpeg 4.4.4 inside OpenCV's video I/O plugin -- Enchant Dashboard for Windows Published at: https://aienchant.com/oss/ffmpeg/4.4.4/ Enchant Dashboard for Windows ships opencv_videoio_ffmpeg4100_64.dll in its engine\ folder. That file is OpenCV's FFmpeg plugin exactly as the OpenCV project distributes it for OpenCV 4.10.0; we do not rebuild or modify it. It contains FFmpeg 4.4.4, licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or later (COPYING.LGPLv2.1), statically linked into that one DLL, which OpenCV loads at run time. This folder is the complete corresponding source. ffmpeg-4.4.4.tar.xz (+ .asc) The FFmpeg 4.4.4 release, sha256 e80b380d595c809060f66f96a5d849511ef4a76a26b76eacf5778b94c3570309, signed by the FFmpeg release key FCF986EA15E6E293A5644F10B4322F04D67658D8. OpenCV builds the git tag n4.4.4 of FFmpeg, which this release corresponds to, and applies no patches to FFmpeg. opencv-videoio-ffmpeg-4.10.0/build-scripts/ OpenCV's build scripts for this plugin, from https://github.com/opencv/opencv_3rdparty commit 394dca6ceb3085c979415e6385996b6570e94153 (the commit OpenCV 4.10.0 pins in 3rdparty/ffmpeg/ffmpeg.cmake). ffmpeg/make_mingw.sh holds the configure line, ffmpeg/download_src.sh the exact versions of the other libraries built in: libvpx v1.14.0 BSD-3-Clause https://chromium.googlesource.com/webm/libvpx libaom v3.9.0 BSD-2-Clause + AOMedia Patent License https://aomedia.googlesource.com/aom OpenH264 v1.8.0 BSD-2-Clause, API headers only https://github.com/cisco/openh264 The plugin contains only a small loader (ffmpeg/openh264_wrapper/) that uses Cisco's OpenH264 DLL if one is installed separately. No OpenH264 code is compiled in, and Enchant does not ship that DLL. opencv-videoio-ffmpeg-4.10.0/BINARY.sha256 The file we ship: sha256 3de83b84588b3ee8bacdbea85a8f92d4855a32a1108183963315a7db06ad5744. Its MD5 bfef029900f788480a363d6dc05c4f0e equals FFMPEG_FILE_HASH_BIN64 in OpenCV 4.10.0's ffmpeg.cmake. Use your own build (or a modified FFmpeg) with Enchant Dashboard: 1. close Enchant Dashboard 2. replace engine\opencv_videoio_ffmpeg4100_64.dll in the installation folder (default %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Enchant Dashboard) with your own build of OpenCV's FFmpeg plugin, same file name (opencv-videoio-ffmpeg-4.10.0/build-scripts shows how OpenCV builds it) 3. start Enchant Dashboard. It does not check that file's contents. An Enchant update puts the shipped file back -- copy yours again afterwards. The FFmpeg 8.1.1 libraries Enchant ships next to it are published at ../8.1.1/.
